Lisa has long been rooted in art and design through her studies, travels and business ventures. She believes that creating a functional and beautiful living environment, and ensuring that it works with your lifestyle, is essential in creating a happy space that soothes the soul.
While obtaining a degree in photography and painting in college, Lisa spent six months studying in Florence, Italy, drawing inspiration from a city that is rich in design and culture. At age 22, Lisa moved to the south of France and lived in a farmhouse in the Haute-Alps region. After her time in Europe, she returned to Chicago and started two businesses, one designing handbags along with a curated selection of vintage clothing and accessories; the other renting and selling vintage dinnerware for events and weddings. Most recently, she worked as a clothing stylist and custom specialist for four years, honing in on her design skills and fabric knowledge.
Lisa is continuously influenced by her travels, and welcomes the task of learning languages and experiencing new cultures. She pulls inspiration from innovative ideas and novel creative solutions, as well as the concept of slow and simple living. She recently renovated her home in the city and has a project in the works for opening up a country home in Michigan.
